Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and service all electrical equipment and installations across the campus facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and power failures promptly to minimize downtime.
- Manage the operation and routine upkeep of Diesel Generator (DG) sets.
- Support new electrical wiring projects, system modifications, and upgrades as required.
- Read and interpret circuit diagrams for effective fault diagnosis and repair.
- Ensure all work complies with established electrical safety protocols and standards.
- Assist senior engineers and research staff with technical support for lab operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess an ITI-NTC certificate in the Electrical Trade or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in the maintenance of electrical equipment, wiring, and troubleshooting.
- The maximum age limit for applicants is 30 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with both Low Tension (LT) and High Tension (HT) lines.
- Familiarity with operating and maintaining DG sets of various capacities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on assigned tasks.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures in a research or lab environment.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 24,000/- plus applicable House Rent Allowance (HRA).
