Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert medical consultation and clinical services in your respective specialty (Cardiology or Nephrology).
- Diagnose and manage complex medical cases for railway beneficiaries.
- Plan and oversee treatment protocols, ensuring the highest standard of patient care.
- Collaborate with the in-house medical team to review cases and provide specialist opinions.
- Mentor and guide junior medical officers and staff as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
- Super Specialist: A Post-Doctoral qualification (DM/M.Ch or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- Specialist: A Post-Graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the specialty after post-graduation.
- Age Limit: Candidates should be between 30 and 64 years of age for the first engagement. The maximum age for retired Railway/Government doctors is 65 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working within a Railway, Central, or State Government hospital.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.
- Familiarity with hospital information management systems and digital health records.
Salary and Benefits
The monthly honorarium is based on qualification and the number of hours worked per week.
- For Super Specialists (DM/M.Ch):
- ₹64,000/- per month for 4 hours a day, 4 days a week.
- ₹40,000/- per month for 2 hours a day, 4 days a week.
- For Specialists (MD/MS/DNB):
- ₹52,000/- per month for 4 hours a day, 4 days a week.
- ₹32,000/- per month for 2 hours a day, 4 days a week.
