Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze environmental data from field sites and laboratory experiments.
- Assist senior researchers in the design and execution of project tasks.
- Prepare technical reports, scientific papers, and presentations on project findings.
- Operate and maintain specialized laboratory and field equipment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure project milestones are met on schedule.

Required Qualifications
- A B.E./B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
- Alternatively, an M.Sc. degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biotechnology.
- The maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates who have qualified through National Eligibility Tests like CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship) or GATE.
- Prior experience working in a research environment or on projects related to wastewater technology or environmental monitoring.
Salary and Benefits
The monthly stipend is structured to reward higher qualifications and is supplemented with House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per CSIR norms.
₹31,000/- + HRA: For candidates selected through national-level examinations like CSIR-UGC NET or GATE.
₹25,000/- + HRA: For candidates who do not meet the above criteria.
