Key Responsibilities
- Senior Assistant: Manage administrative tasks, coordinate with various departments, handle official correspondence, and maintain records and files.
- Technical Assistant: Provide technical support for academic projects, maintain and operate specialized equipment, and assist faculty and students in workshops.
- Laser and 3D Printing Lab Assistant: Operate and maintain laser cutting and 3D printing machinery, manage lab inventory, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- IT Lab Assistant: Manage computer hardware and software in the IT lab, provide technical support to users, and troubleshoot network and system issues.
Required Qualifications
- Senior Assistant: A Post-Graduate degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Technical Assistant: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering with 3 years of experience, OR a Diploma in the same fields with 5 years of experience.
- Laser and 3D Printing Lab Assistant: Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering with 3 years of experience, OR an ITI certificate (Fitter/Turner/Machinist) with 5 years of experience.
- IT Lab Assistant: B.E./B.Tech or B.Sc. in Computer Science/IT/Electronics, OR a Diploma in the same fields with at least 3 years of experience.
- Age Limit: Candidates must not exceed 35 years of age as of the application’s last date. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in standard office software and computer applications.
- Hands-on experience with specific lab equipment relevant to the post (e.g., CNC machines, 3D printers).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students and faculty.

Salary and Benefits
The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration based on their position. These are contractual roles, and the benefits will be as per the norms of the National Institute of Design.
- Senior Assistant: ₹40,000/- per month
- Technical Assistant: ₹35,000/- per month
- Laser and 3D Printing Lab Assistant: ₹30,000/- per month
- IT Lab Assistant: ₹30,000/- per month
